REQUEST  FOR  PROPOSALS  (RFP) for

Pre-production, production (Layout) and Printing of the

2009 Telephone Directory

Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC) is now accepting bid proposal for pre-production, production (layout) and printing of the 2009 telephone directory. Attached is a list of minimum requirements and specifications for the items required. Proposals will be evaluated on ability to meet the minimum requirements and specifications attached herewith, price, experience and reliability.

PNCC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. A submission of an offer of proposal gives PNCC the right to inspect and/or require further information about the item needed.

Proposals must be received no later than Friday, July 18, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. Palau Time at the PNCC Headquarters Building located at Ngerusar, Airai State. All proposals must be sealed and addressed to Palau National Communications Corporation, Corporate Headquarter, Attn: Richard L. Misech, General Manager, One Airport Road-Airai, PO Box 99, Koror, Palau  PW 96940 with “RFP No. 08.87” written outside the envelope.

If email is preferable, proposals must be emailed only to PNCC Purchasing/Procurement Manager, O’Brien O. Ngemaes at ongemaes@palaunet.com with subject stating “Respond to RFP No. 08.87” and will not be opened until the day of the bid opening.

Interested parties may attend a pre-bid conference in person or telephonically on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. If Attendance telephonically is desired, please contact our Purchasing/Procurement Manager O’Brien O. Ngemaes prior to July 2, 2008, for the teleconference call to be set up by PNCC.

After closing date of the bidding, proposals will be opened and reviewed in accordance with evaluation procedures provided by the PNCC Procurement Policy and Regulations. Proposals shall be opened and viewed only by PNCC personnel authorized to participate in the evaluation process until the award. Proposals shall be evaluated for public inspection only after the contract is awarded. All interested parties will be informed of the results of the proposals at an appropriate time. PNCC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

Any person offering a proposal pursuant hereto acknowledges and agrees that PNCC’s Procurement Policy and Regulations are binding on them.
