DUTIES SUMMARY:
Manages and coordinates the development, implementation, installation, operations
and maintenance of all hardware and software of the Customer Care and Billing Solution.
All tasks are to be coordinated with the immediate supervisor, solution provider,
and when and where appropriate with PNCC end users and perform other related duties as my be assigned.
Work under the general supervision of the Information Systems Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Educations and Work Experience: Minimum 2 yr college degree in the
field and at least three (3) years work experience in the IT industry or related
field. Usually requires an Information Systems degree with comprehensive experience
in Linux/Unix with database systems or 2-3 years relevant professional and technical
experience in computer science.
Skills and Abilities: The individual must understand and be able
to perform most or all of the mentioned system administrator tasks; understand Windows
Server operating systems and Oracle database day-to-day functions. In addition,
must also have basic knowledge of Oracle 9i relational and object databases abd
Oracle Application server, Oracle9i/Oracle8i SQL programming language and is able
to understand and perform basic SQL queries for Oracle Databases and be able to
create report scripts using SQL Navigator (EUQL)
The individual must have had considerable exposure to Linux/Oracle database, Windows
Server and Linux/Unix environments as considerable work will be on these particular
operating system environments.
The individual must be a problem solver, highly organized, flexible, excellent listener,
detail-oriented and able to handle multiple task to successul completion.
Must also have excellent verbal, writing, team, and interpersonal skills and able
to think strategically and act tactically.
Good command of spoken and written
English and Palauan languages, etc.
