Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC) is pleased to announce that PalauCel
international roaming service has been expanded to include Vodafone Australia and
SMART Philippines.
PalauCel customers with postpaid accounts
(775) who visit the Philippines can now use their own cellphones there. In
additional to SMART Philippines, roaming outside of Palau is now available for postpaid
PalauCel customers going to the U.S. with AT&T, Guam and the CNMI with IT&E
and Taiwan with CHT. To use roaming services overseas, PalauCel travellers need
to sign up for roaming before leaving Palau.
PNCC’s newest roaming partner for visitors
to Palau is VodaFone Australia. VodaFone customers from Australia can just turn on their cell phones upon arrival and make calls home, overseas or locally
throughout Palau.
PNCC’s other roaming partners for visitors
to Palau include Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) and FarEasTone of Taiwan, NTT DoCoMo and
SoftBank of Japan, CSL Hong Kong, IT&E from Guam and the CNMI (formerly PTI),
AT&T Wireless - U.S., plus DoCoMo Pacific of Guam.
